Established in 1899, the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library is one of only 16 nonprofit membership libraries in the United States. The library, devoted exclusively to music and art, provides the La Jolla and San Diego communities with an outstanding collection of resources and an ongoing schedule of art exhibitions, concerts, lectures, studio art classes, and special events.
